- If you use candles please keep them one foot from anything that is flammable.
- Make sure you never leave without blowing them out. This includes going to bed.
- If you use a space heating in your home keep it at least three feet from anything that could burn.
- When cooking if you are frying, grilling or broiling food never leave the kitchen unattended.
- Keep a kitchen type fire extinguisher available for emergencies. Never place it in a cabinet above your stove, in the event of a fire you may not be able to get at it.
